Hi Ed. I just received the dragon grips, WOW! But did I ever screw up. I held them up to my presentation grade Colt 1911 just out of curiosity to see how they would look. Damn it! I was going to put these on the knife from Wilson Tactical we talked about but, now they are staying on the 1911. I want you to realize that since I discovered your grips I have replaced all of the grips on my Colts. We are not talking stock grips either. We are talking ivory, stag, some very classy stuff. I don't know what higher compliment you could receive. My only complaint is now that I have put the dragons on my 1911 I still don't have any grips for my knife! I still have to purchase another pair, and I really don't see how you will ever surpass the beauty of the dragons, but I will just have to wait and see. Thank you again,

Well, Ed, as usual I really don't know what to say. I just received the Menuki mask grips. There are really no words to describe them. What can be said, beautiful, terrific, outstanding, a work of art? Any such platitudes are too trite to even begin to describe the integrity and quality of your work I can say, however, that I have played the shooting game for more years than most of your customers have been alive, as a supervisor in a major sheriffs department, in the military, and in the civilian sector. You name it, any handgun, holster, and any grip, I have owned it, tried it, or at least heard about it. This is not bragging on my part. I simply want you and your customers to know the source of the high regard that I have for you and your product.
Admittedly, your grips are something that will not appeal to everyone, but that is why i love them! For anyone who wishes for something out of the ordinary, truly unique, collectable, and of unbelievably top quality, you have No EQUAL! Aside from all that, as I have said before, It is your customer service and integrity that truly sets you apart. In short, to say that I am " picky" about my handguns and equipment would be like saying Attila The Hun was a liberal, but if anyone would like a reference regarding the beauty and quality of your work, I will gladly send them a copy of my credit card statement!

The stocks arrived yesterday....absolutely fantastic in look and craftsmanship. You are a "class act" Strange. I have them on the DW and they really match the piece and showcase the weapon better than I had hoped. They fit perfectly...!!! No looseness around the stock screw area. Hey Ed, these grips look great!! The wood grain really sets off the stainless on my Kimber TLE/RL II. The finish is outstanding, and the craftsmanship really shows through. Haven't had time to drop you a line,but I got the grips on Wednesday.I put
the dragon grips on my stainless Kimber,and the maple on my blued Dan
Wesson... DAMN!!! Those grips are slick,they make the pistols look like

Hey Ed, I got the ruger grips on today..and all I can say is that turned out fantastic! I'm very pleased with the result. The grips were very snug...almost couldn't get them on...then they slid on. My roommates couldn't stop handling the gun when I showed it to them...eventually I had to order everyone out of the room so I could begin to get some work done. Oh and I distributed some of your business cards to some potential future customers for ya:) The coffin case is also quite attractive and well-built...the perfect carrying case for my super redhawk. All in all I'm very satisfied with the job...but especially at your attention to detail and wanting nothing less than a 100% satisfied customer!

I actually stumbled across your website on AR15.com, after checking out your site out I knew I had to have a custom set for my Dan Wesson. After coming up with the "Hawaiian Tiki idol" idea Ed did everything possible to make what I was envisioning in my head a reality. Ed was also kind enough to upgrade my choice of wood for the grips. I was dead set on Hawaiian Koa but he suggested Desert Ironwood...let's just say I'm glad I listened! Anyway, the grips are spectacular and I'm proud to say that I own a set of Ed's creations.

As you know, Ed, I have been a dyed -in-the-wool Colt fan for many years, but, recently, I discovered Nighthawk Custom Pistols. One look and I immediately understood that Colts, Kimbers, Springfields and the like are akin to Dodges, Fords, and Chevys. Nothing wrong with them, many people own them and are justifibly proud of them, but I realized I was holding a Ferarri. (At roughly $2500.00 apiece they are priced like a Ferarri too) But are they worth it? OH YEAH! By the time the smoke cleared, between me and my checkbook, only one of us walked away. I had bought two Nighthawks and my wife and son had purchased a third for my birthday
Now, I was faced with a dilema, how in the hell do you class up and customize a Ferarri?! The option was easy. The pistols come with standard double diamond cocobolo grips... oh wow.
That's where you came in (again) In another of my flashes of inspiration I decided that I just had to have a silver logo to match the carving on my pair of Liberty boots set in a very rare and breathtaking wood...YEAH ...RIGHT! But, I was to learn yet another lesson... don't ever underestimate the fantastic artistic ability of Ed Strange! You not only recreated the carving, but also added that artistic touch that created a look that money just can't buy. Thank you once again, my friend, you are the master.. or perhaps a magician. You certainly do work magic. This time I had to send a picture. You tell me.

I wanted to thank you for sending out those grips so promptly. I cannot express in words the artistry and craftsmanship that you put into these. I could not be more pleased. These are now, no doubt, the coolest set in Florida! The digital pictures you posted were beautiful, but the real deal in person far exceeds anyone’s expectations. I mounted them on my Colt Gold Cup Custom and they are awesome. I would send you a picture but my digital camera is not as good as yours – and you have so many already. Of course they fit perfectly.
I have several other 1911 that I would love to adorn with such works of art. I will check your web site regularly and see what you have for immediate sale. If you want to send me an email to remind me (or others) that you posted new ones I would really appreciate it. Might be something to consider to start such a mail list.
